Hi! I’m Scott Grace!

I have always dreamed of competing in the Kona Hawaii Ironman World Championships (2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike, and 26.2-mile run) ever since watching it on TV 30 years ago. It was something I longed to do, but I never took the necessary steps to qualify. However, everything changed after a significant health event in 2011 when I suffered a massive Pulmonary Embolism that left me hospitalized for 8 days. The experience made me realize that if you want to achieve something significant, you can’t wait until conditions are perfect. Since 2011, I’ve completed 13 Full Ironmans and 4 Half Ironmans, which I needed to do to qualify for the race on October 26th. Over the last 13 years, I've been fortunate to have the physical capabilities and mental endurance to complete these events.

I am humbly requesting your support to benefit Camp Boggy Creek, which helps children with serious illnesses enjoy a camp experience in a safe, medically sound environment. I understand the daily challenges faced by many campers and their families, and I am grateful that Boggy Creek provides an outlet for them to have positive, life-changing experiences.
