Medical Facility

Camp Boggy Creek is a $23 million facility which includes a state-of-the-art medical facility affectionately called “The Patch” (it’s where kids come to get patched up.)

Our full time physician and nurse are supplemented by volunteer doctors and nurses whenever campers are on property. These volunteers generally specialize in the illness or disease group being served during that particular family retreat weekend or summer session. Additionally, four nurses are hired each summer and are assigned to a specific group of children during each session.

Camp has partnered with hospitals and treatment centers throughout Florida as well as with voluntary health organizations. Not only do they refer campers but many of them also provide financial support and donate needed equipment and supplies.

Parents and guardians can be secure in the knowledge that their child will be safe and have access to any medical support s/he may need while at Camp Boggy Creek. If you or someone you know has a child with any of the illnesses, conditions or disease groups we serve, please tell them about us. There is no charge to come and getting started is as easy as calling 866-462-6449 extension 4252 or emailing camperrecruiter@campboggycreek.org.

"Had an awesome time this weekend at Family Weekend. This was my first time at the camp and I was so IMPRESSED. What a wonderful experience. Everything was top notch. Keep up the good work. I am so glad my granddaugher has been able to attend the camp the past two years. She just loves it as well. Thanks again to everyone who make all of this possible."
