The Medical Center is affectionately known as "The Patch." It's where our campers go to get "patched up." This 8,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is designed to be as non-institutional as possible. It's capable of accommodating the full array of treatments for the disease groups we serve.

Whether it's a chemotherapy treatment, a dialysis procedure or bandaging a minor cut, the full time staff, supplemented by volunteer specialists makes a trip to the doctor fun. There is even an exam table shaped like a dinosaur! A camp nurse who totes meds in a tackle box or visits campers who need medications during the day! It all helps to insure that our Boggy Creek campers have the time of their lives.

The medical presence is purposely kept in the background so the children can concentrate on filling their days with all the fun of a good old-fashioned camp experience.
