Silver Springs, FL - Traditional Bowhunters of Florida Annual Shoot
Come and enjoy, you don't have to be a member to take part in this family fun event, that supports the Camp Boggy Creek archery program. Casual Start begins @ 8am. All score cards are turned in by 2pm. Awards and Raffle: $20/Adults; Youth and Cubs/Free. Hot lunch is available at 11am for $5.00 per person. Bring a friend, need no be a TBOF member to compete! The run heads out of Harley-Davidson Palm Beach in West Palm Beach and concludes with BBQ and live music at Center Drive in Lake Worth. Tallahassee - Phi Kappa Tau Dancing with the Greeks
These great supporters of camp are putting on their dancing shoes to compete, have a great time and raise funds for the campers of Boggy Creek. The fraternity supports camp through fundraisers and sending us volunteers each year. Thanks to all the dancing folks at Phi Kappa Tau for helping out once again!!

Key West, Florida - 6th Annual WorldSailfish Tournament
Be a part of one of South Florida's most prestigious sailfish tournaments. Compete along with other elite anglers for $125,000 in cash -- including a $100,000 guaranteed first-place cash prize, a $15,000 second-place cash prize and a $10,000 third-place cash prize. Three days of hard fought fishing will be complemented by three evenings of fabulous food, drinks, fun and entertainment. Scheduled highlights include a free concert overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in Key West, gourmet meals and VIP parties. The sailfish spectacular begins Tuesday, April 15 with a final registration from 11am - 4pm. The Captain's Meeting is scheduled for 5:30pm, with the Contender kick-off party at 6:45pm. Opening ceremonies follow, highlighted by a military flyover scheduled for 7pm. Lines are in the water from 8am - 3:30pm Wednesday and Thursday, April 16 and 17, and from 8am - 2pm Saturday, April 19. A portion of the proceeds from the Gala evening will benefit Camp Boggy Creek. Once again our friends at HFTP are getting ready to hit the green to bring funds for Camp Boggy Creek. Each year our dedicated friends of the Mid-Florida chapter of the Hospitality Financial and Technical Professionals organize a great golf event which includes, Raffles, Mulligans and Great Food. Hosted by our friends at Alfest, this is the first annual Dare to Donate. Challenge your friends to something fun, a dare, and help out Camp at the same time. Just send your dare and as much contact info as you have on the target of your dare and how much you'll donate if they accept your challenge. Get ready to give till it hurts! The place: The Boardwalk Tavern, 3421 Main Highway in Coconut Grove, festivities begin at 8pm with pizza, music and more. Remember to make the dare reasonable and creative; have fun with it. The 2008 Champagne Ball will go to the Islands with a luau theme. We pay tribute to Eric and Diane Holm, Golden Corral Restaurants as they are inducted into the Daytona Harley-Davidson Ride for Children Hall of Fame, to honor them for many years of support to Camp Boggy Creek and the Ride for Children. Individual tickets at $250 and Table packages at $2,500 and $5,000 are available for the Champagne Ball which will be held at Destination Daytona.

Sunday October 12th marks the 14th Annual Daytona Harley-Davidson Ride for Children, with the VIP Riders enjoying a Pre-Ride Party on Saturday, October 11th at Destination Daytona. This year there are some changes in available rider packages, please click on the Registration Form to view details and download a registration form. As always, Outback Steakhouse will be serving up a fabulous lunch and Coca-Cola and Miller products will be on hand.

Cassia - Boggy Creek 27
For 6 years these dedicated distance riders have come to visit Camp Boggy Creek, take a 27 mile ride through the Seminole State Forest and raise funds for the children who come to camp. Arrival begins on Saturday, November 8, with a potluck dinner that night. As the sun rises on Sunday, the horses and riders begin their trip into the woods. The weekend also includes a raffle and many riders gather funds from family and associates as donations for Camp Boggy Creek. Thanks to everyone for another year that will be a great success. Angi Palmieri and her husband Sal have worked to keep the loving memory of her father, Jefferson H. Ridgdill alive, through a 5K Run/Walk each year. This is a celebration of Mr. Ridgdill's life, and his commitment to the community. Angi has chosen Camp Boggy Creek to be the 2008 beneficiary. The run/walk will cross 2 bridges beginning near Riverside Park heading east over the North Causeway, then south down Peninsula and west over the South Causeway finishing in Riverside Park.
