Disney World, Orlando - Disney Marathon and Half Marathon
Thanks to all the runners who challenged themselves to change the life of a child by running in the Disney Half and Full Marathon this year. Each person running for Camp Boggy Creek helped another child come to camp. Daytona, FL - EMCO Gears Benefit Golf Tournament
Golfers from GRAND-AM and sponsors and supporters of Camp Boggy Creek gathered on the Legends course at LPGA International to have a great time and support the children of Camp Boggy Creek. The Camper Tee was quite a hit raising extra funds by allowing golfers to tee off closer to the hole for a donation to camp. The employees of Bubba Gumps in Daytona Beach will be baking cakes and doing some other creative things to raise funds for the campers. This great group of employees is giving back to help the children all through the year.

Orlando, FL - Give Hope and Holdem' Gala
This will mark the 5th year for the members of the Give Hope Foundation supporting the children of Camp Boggy Creek with the Give Hope and Holdem' Gala. The evening is full of fun, including a professionally managed Texas Holdem tournament along with a silent and live auction. Deland, FL - Help Us Help U Camp Boggy Creek Benefit Golf Tournament
Thanks to our friends at UCF-Cornerstone, and Help us Help U for hosting a benefit golf tournament. Enjoy Victoria Hills Golf Club in Deland, FL. Registration begins at 12:30 and includes a great buffet. The shotgun start begins at 1:30pm. It's $75 per person which includes your greens fee, GPS Golf Cart fee and range balls. Orlando, FL - UCF Campus Jeremiah's Italian Ice Sale
Enjoy that cool refreshment of Jeremiah's Italian Ice, just look for all the gang from HASA (Hispanic American Student Association) at Cohlborn Hall on the UCF Campus. Join in around 10am; it lasts as long as it lasts. Everyone from HASA is going to be raising money to help more ill children come to Camp Boggy Creek, and handing out information about Camp and our mission.
Deland, FL - Poker Run
Ride from Pub 44 in Deland to Destination Daytona in Ormond Beach. Registration is 9-11am. The run begins at 11am, last bike in at 4pm. Prizes will be awarded for the best and the worst hands, live music by Scared Straight, raffle, 50/50 and more. A portion of the proceeds benefit the children of Camp Boggy Creek. Casselberry, FL - Caretakers M.E. Poker Run
Thanks to everyone at the Caretakers M.E. for including Camp Boggy Creek in their benefit Poker Run this year. Registration begins at 8:30am at the Casselberry Veteran's Inc. and Auxiliary at 200 Concord Drive. Breakfast Buffet will begin at 8am and wrap up at 10am. Stops include American Legion Posts in Orlando, Titusville, Longwood and more. Last bike in at 3:30pm, raffle and 50/50 including the chance to win a Harley Davidson at 5:30pm. Destination Daytona, FL - Daytona Beach HOG Poker Run
Come one and all, registration will be 10-11:30am, last bike in 2:30pm. Start and finish at Saints & Sinners, Destination Daytona. The poker details - $10.00 per Hand, $5.00 each Extra Hand. Participants get into the Bud-B-Que Festival at Destination one hour early at 3pm. Discounted hotel rooms are available at Destination Hotel. Proceeds from the Poker Run benefit the children who come to Camp Boggy Creek.

The World Sailfish Championship calls itself "the world's richest sailfish tournament," a double entendre that applies to its prize money and the individuals who compete in the event every April in Key West, Florida. For 8 years Executive Adventure and the friends of World Sailfish Championship have enriched the lives of children who come to Camp Boggy Creek. Punta Gorda, FL - Open Fun Show
Hi Manes 'N Reins 4-H members and friends host a benefit for the horse program at Camp Boggy Creek. Sunday, May 23rd, 12 Noon is our annual Open Fun Show at Carmalita Park in Punta Gorda. It's a fundraiser for 4-H and Camp Boggy Creek's Equestrian Program for chronically ill children. $5 per class or $25 all you can show. Free admission to watch. There will be trophies & ribbons, a silent auction, raffles, a bake sale, a food vendor and more. Hope to see you there. Hot Doughnuts Now! - participating Krispy Kreme stores will be raising money to send children to Hole in the Wall Camps around the country. Fort Myers, FL - Hot Flashz Dancing for the Campers
They are always raising funds for the kids . . . the Hot Flashz dance troupe do a variety of events in the Fort Myers area raising funds and creating awareness. On June 25th you can find them at the Miracle Baseball Game at Hammond Stadium. The ladies will be dancing at 6:20pm and you can enjoy their great entertainment and some good baseball too. These ladies can be found at community events, fundraisers, festivals and parties as well as private functions. They always carry the message of the campers while they entertain the crowd. Coconut Grove, FL - 6th Annual Alfest
Our friends in Coconut Grove will be out and about to help the campers and enjoy a wonderful evening. 2010 marks the 6th Annual Alfest; a night of celebration through the Coconut Grove area near Miami. We are grateful for all the years of support this fun event has brought to the children who come to Camp Boggy Creek. If you want to join the fun, check out the event website at www.alfest.net. Orlando, FL - HFTP Mid-Florida Chapter 8th Annual Tournament
Once again this event is open and will help send even more children to camp. Members of HFTP Mid-Florida Chapter have been dedicated to supporting children with chronic illnesses and having a great day of golf. This years event will be held at Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge with check in at 11am and everyone out for a shotgun start at 1:30pm on the Panther Lake Course. Golf will be followed at 6:30pm with an evening reception including awards, raffle winners and acknowledgements. This year the Rossmeyer family will continue to honor Bruce Rossmeyer's commitment to the children at Camp Boggy Creek by hosting an evening event at Destination Daytona the evening prior to the ride. To attend, tables of 10 are available for $2,500. This year we honor camp supporters and friends of Bruce, Robert and Helen White of White Site Development. That's right, this year the folks who come to ride their horses at Camp Boggy Creek and raise funds for the children will ride one more mile than years past. Over 100 horses will fill the field, each rider working towards pledges and fund raising as well as having a great time.
