All of the children who come to Camp Boggy Creek leave with their own handmade afghan to remind them daily of their special time at Camp. Decorative quilts are used both on the beds in the camper cabins and as wall hangings. Here are a few tips:

Decorative Quilts do not need to be machine washable. The size should be no larger than 7 feet by 10 feet. The theme of the quilt should be cheerful and bright and will be used in buildings throughout camp.
Bed Quilts should be 60 inches by 80 inches and made from 6 or 8 inch cloth squares. Please use cotton or flannelette and make sure they are machine washable and not too heavy or too warm.
Afghans can be knitted or crocheted with bright cheerful colors. The size should be 35-40 inches wide by 40-50 inches long.

Upon completing your quilt or afghan, please take an extra minute to insure that all pins have been removed. Thanks!
